Oats contain large amounts of a fiber called beta-glucan. As soon as this comes into contact with water, the porridge known for porridge is created. In the intestine, this mass not only slows down the absorption of carbohydrates, but also inhibits the absorption of cholesterol.
The product, which is manufactured in Austria specifically for the Lanserhof, comes from controlled organic cultivation. This assumes that the environment is burdened as little as possible.

Usage

Porridge recipe from Lanserhof chef Karsten Wolf

Ingredients:
500 ml water, 1 Msp. Ancient salt, 4 tbsp. Porridge flour, cinnamon, maple syrup, agave or yacon syrup which has 50% fewer calories than table sugar and also has a very low glycemic index

Preparation:
Boil the water, add salt, turn the heat down, stir in the flour, let it swell for 10 minutes, add a dash of oat milk or spelled milk and you’re done.
