Vitamin B contained in spelt is good for the liver, brain and muscle cells. The silicic acid on the one hand strengthens the hair and nails, and on the other hand is helpful for the thinking ability. Spelt has the highest iron content of all cereals with 4.2mg per 100g.
The product, which is produced in Austria explicitly for Lanserhof, comes from a controlled organic cultivation. This implies that the environment is polluted as little as possible. Therefore, the use of chemical pesticides, mineral fertilizers and genetic engineering is avoided.
Porridge recipe by Lanserhof chef Karsten Wolf
500 ml of water, 1 MSp. of primal salt, 4 tbs. of porridge flour, cinnamon, maple syrup, agave or yacon syrup which has 50% less calories than household sugar and also a very low glycemic index.
Boil water, add salt, turn down heat, stir in flour,leave to swell for 10 min, add a dash of oat milk or spelt milk if necessary and ready.
